The advantages to using Pure Anada mineral cosmetics are numerous! Many women have abandoned their chemical laden liquid foundations, for the fresh, clean coverage of minerals!
Pure Anada Cosmetics is a conciencious company that truely cares abou what is put into their cosmetics, and in turn, into your bodies!
Pure Anada Advantages:
1) The foundation is a natural and effective sun block since the formula includes Titanium dioxide and Zinc oxide. In light foundation applications, the SPF is around 10, in heavier applications, about 20. For your safety, we do not use the "nano" sized particles of these particular minerals. We use a fine grade that is not small enough to absorb through your skin and into your bloodstream.
2) Coverage is lightweight and complete, which is great for skin with color problems such as acne rosacea or hyper pigmentation.
3) Many of the ingredients have special properties. For example, zinc oxide is a proven anti-inflammatory, This makes it great for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
4) Pure Anada Mineral Makeup is typically very water-resistant and long lasting. It is a great choice for people who are active or who live in hot, humid environments.
5) Because it is non-comedogenic and oil free, you can even sleep in it!
6) It is not necessary to add any chemical preservatives (the raw materials are inert minerals and cannot support bacteria, mold or fungi).
7) With the proper tools, such as our natural bristle brushes, Pure Anada cosmetics are fast and easy to apply, and very forgiving.
8) Compared to other Mineral Cosmetic brands, Pure Anada boasts full coverage while still feeling lightweight. Added Silica minimize the possibility of the minerals sitting in creases. Unlike some of the "big name" brands, we don't include Bismuth Oxychloride, which is a known irritant.
Obviously we didn't want to title this next section, "Disadvatages", but there are a few points to be considered when trying mineral cosmetics for the first time. For some people, these points are advantages, and to others a disadvantage. It simply comes down to personal preference. We just thought we'd give you the "heads up"!
Don't Expect...
1) Don't expect mineral foundation to act as "putty". Mineral cosmetics are usually fabulous at evening skin tone, and providing a lively "glow" to faces. But, since it is simply made of mineral pigments and not "plastic", it cannot fill in acne scars, lines, bumps, etc. While this may be a disappointment to some consumers, to others, it's just what they've been looking for! It doesn't feel like you're wearing a mask, or a heavy layer of "goop" on your face. Your skin and pores are clean, and they can breath. 2) Don't expect truely natural lip glosses to feel "sticky". Again, personal preference is a factor in this area. Lip glosses and lipsticks made of natural oils and waxes will feel creamy and moisturizing. Instead of putting a barrier on your lips, they actually help to nourish them! Basically, you cannot get that plastic, patent leather feel with a truly natural product!
3) Don't Expect mineral cosmetics to replace your skin care regime. Although minerals are great for your skin, we still recommend cleansing, toning, and moisturizing with an organic and natural skin care line. Mineral cosmetics will reflect the condition of your skin. For example, if your skin is scaly and desperately needs to be exfoliated, it will still appear dry and flaky with mineral cosmetics. Hydration is key. For best results, always use a Pure Anada facial spray prior to applying mineral foundation.
4 Don't Expect natural cosmetics to taste and smell like chemical fragrances and flavors. It a product is truly natural, it will not taste like cotton candy or smell like lilacs. These products are not dirived from nature! Pure Anada lip glosses are lightly flavored with a few drops of tangerine essential oil. Our facial sprays are made of organic hydrosols, and essential oils. They smell beautiful, in a natural way!
4) Don't Expect Pure Anada Mineral Cosmetics, or any other brand for that matter, to solve all of your life's problems! You will still have the same nose, the same personality, and same family issues! Although infomercials are informative, consumers leave the Shopping Channel with high hopes and dreams of what their newly ordered makeup will do for them! I've talked to many women who have ordered "big name" mineral cosmetics, and felt that it didn't meet their expectations. Why? Because television isn't always what it seems and can leave the shopper with expectations that are too high.
It's like asking your hairstylist for a celebrity hairstyle, and being secretly disappointed with the final result because you don't look more like the celebrity! I used to be a stylist, and was always amazed at the amount of women who weren't happy with their physical appearance. It comes from something deeper. Be thankful for what you have, embrace your uniqueness, and find the beauty inside of you!
